I got a guitar kit with basic pickups. It’s ring mounted but I’d like to remove the cover and hard mount via the tabs. Advice on removing the cover or is it just a “pull off with force?” Kind of deal?

So there is a cold spell and my workspace is between 7-10°C I’m wondering if this is too cold to complete the finish (Minwax oil-based stain and then tru-oil). Current progress: Front - Initial Front - 1st Coat Back - Initial Back - 1st Coat Back - 2nd Coat (with light sanding)

Almost made a pretty big booboo... But then spotted my mistake when clearly 2 humbuckers were not going to fit... Whew that would of been a disaster!

I’m wondering if there is good reason I’m unaware of to put the controls behind yet above the bridge rather than bellow? This would then mean that the tremolo bar doesn’t interfere with the controls and vide-versa. Photo for reference: I apologize for it’s sketchness.
