I've heard or read somewhere that the Princeton is the most recorded electric guitar amp. At least that's what I've heard on some Fender propaganda. That may have been true in the late 60's and 70's, but do you think that's still true? What amp would take 2nd place?

Are amps rated for current draw? Can you use the same tubes from a EL84 15w Blues Junior in a 50w Marshall head? This where you just call the guy at your tube source and let him select the correct tubes for you.

How long does it take you to determine whether an amp is the right amp for you? Let's say you want a Blues Junior or a Bogner Shiva or a Laney LC30R or a Marshall JCM 800 and the local shop has 3 of the one you want. How long will it take you decide which of the three is the best pick?
