- Duncan Pups I Have Experience With...
- About a year ago I bought a very lightly used Ibanez Artcore AFS-75-T-TBL that the previous owner had fitted with Duncan Humbuckers. When I hit the first chord in the music store, the guitar sold itself, the Duncan pups made it sound like no other Ibanex that I'd ever heard, the sound was more like a PAF equipped big body Gibson jazz box than a thin profile semi hollow body like an Artcore. I play mine through a Vox AC-15 mostly as that amp really helps bring out the best possible tones in it,however it also sounds incredible through my Blues Jr.I recently bought a Fender Vintage Hot Rod '52 Tele with a Duncan mini Humbucker in the neck position and she sounds just out of this world,so much so that I'm seriously considering getting a Duncan single coil bridge pup for the guitar too.
