Hey forum gurus, I have a strat with 2 ssl1's and a JB bridge and wired to split the JB in #2. The problem is that it isn't noise canceling in #2, I'm guessing because of different windings etc. Is there a SD pickup that is essentially 2 ssl1's in humbucker form? Can I make one? Thanks, Robby

I just got a new JB for my strat and there is a Black, White, Red, Green, Bare, & Shield. 6 total. I thought the bare was the ground. Does the shield, which is a foil not a mesh, need to be grounded too???
