have a question. On most of the Gibsons back In the day. (60's 70's 80's or even today) Those tune-o-matic bridges. abr-1 I guess. some of my questions are... Which way is more correct? The adjuster screws pointing back tword the tail or forward tword the headstock? whats the Pluses and minuses...

Heres another question. Did the original ones ever come with those pointers under the knobs? Or just the reissues ones? Or maybe those didn't either? thanks

Ive seen many guitars. Original 58 59 V's and the reissue Gibson ones though the years. and ive seen them with both chrome and gold headstock logos. So my question is. whats "really" correct for the 58 59 V's? gold or chrome? And what did Gibson use when they did the reissues? or did they come...

So what is all this talk of 50's wiring? Is it a certain way to soilder up the pathways of the wires? caps? certail ohm pots? If so. Where do you get diagrams?? ron

I have a epi reissue V.. a 98 I beleave.. Im putting a 59 in the neck and distortion in the bridge. I had emg's in there and it sucked.... LOLOL... so. has anyone here tried the same set up in the same type of guitar at all? and if so. What was the results? ron

Hi sorry guys. This is like betting a dead horse.... but... All I really want to know is with all you guys trying a .047 Vs. a .022... With humbuckers. even though on seymours diagrams it shows .047.. What seems to be the one most guys end up likeing?? And does the Volts on those really matter...

Hi. ok. duncan sells the gold covers. great. But what do i do for the gold screws that come though them. I dont want silver screw heads coming thought the gold cover.. Can anyone help? thanks ron
