I'm thinking of buying a set of Fishman Fluence pickups for my Jackson 7 string. Just wanted to know If anyone has experience with the stephen carpenter set and how does it compare to the regular modern 7 set?

is it possible to set up a guitar with an EMG 707 in the neck and a Fishman Fluence modern 7 in the bridge? If so, would you need any special kind of soldering or could you just use EMG'S quick connect wires and still take advantage of all the posibilites the Fishman offers (coil tap, voice change).
