I want to get a new guitar and I have it narrowed down to an Eastwood GP or Hagstrom Swede. I'm looking for an inexpensive guitar with descent fit & finish and playability.

The ad for the Mesa Express 5:25 says it is a "British" voiced amp (because of EL84's I assume). What British amp can it be compared to? Vox? Marshall? Hiwatt?
