    Necessary changing only the volume pot to 500k or the tone ones too? strat

    Hi all, I use an american standard strat with some pretty high output pickups. Seymour Duncan hot rails + JB (Neck/middle) + Dimarzio X2N humbucker at the bridge. All my pots are 250k. Sound is muddy at the bridge when volume 6+ Should I change only the volume one to 500k or change all of them?

    I need to investigate these 3 old hot rails models: 3 different ones with the letters: "N", "NC" and one with ID tag. I guess the right one is the newest one? I've read the one with the "C" is wounded by Catalina Padilla. Does that make any differences? like hand-made? Was the N made by...
