I am now looking for a second bass amp I have been playin for 2 yrs. and im lookin for a good quality bass amp for 200-500$ can u give me some suggestions?

I'm thinking about modding my bandmaster....just dont know where do get it done...I'm not exactly sure what I want, but I want the amp to overdrive more..kind of a marshal type thing. Any ideas?

Ok, now my amp makes humming noises when I turn it on. It goes away as the amp is tilted back, or when I push on the top. What else could be wrong with it. I've got a '59 bassman ltd.

how do they sound? Has anyone used them?

Just got it and its makin noises. Kind of a rattle, but only when I playcertain notes. It isnt very noticeable, but gets anoying. Could a tube be loose? It was the floor model at GC too, so I guess it isnt right out of the box.

does anyone know? I'd mesure myself, but i dont have enough time to talke it apoart and then set it up again etc...
