  • Yo man! That's a sweet explorer in the pic. Is that one of those slightly small bodies? I can't quite tell.

On playing - I've been playing the bejeebers out of my Dean Caddy lately for the Dean Open House - but "She" got cut from the set due to LA Gunns hogging stage time!

I just dig playing most everything.
Mine is mahogany with a lightly quilted natural top. Here is a photo:

I will get a photo up - it is a sweet axe. The Explorer Pros are fantastic guitars.
Sorry, I mis-typed his is a 72. It is actually a Triumph ( I just asked him) sorry for my original typo. Yeah, yours is a beaut. My fathers is a bit more beat up, but still beautiful aswell. I love the out of phase option on it, and the impedance for recording, he has the pickups really high, seems to make it sound better in his opinion. Dose the first position (all the way to the left) on yours work when only the bridge is selected ? His dosent work with bridge pickup + first position, I was always unsure why. Great bass though like I said ! : )
This one is an LP Triumph, it replaced the Recording in '72. The Triumph has the output transformer inside the control cavity, instead of the special cable. They made the Triumph from about '72 to '79. Mine's a '77.
hello ! i see you own a full shred on one of your guitars.
i already have the 59 in the neck and i'm completely satisfied with it.
i was thinking of replacing my bridge pickup with a full shred.
i just want to hear your opinion on what would a 59-full shred combo sound like (on a mahogany, maple and rosewood guitar)
the type of stuff i'd like to play is some heavy and full downtuned riffs, melodies, clear palm mutes and the like.
thanks in advance for your time :)
