My Takamine Gx-200 is killer. Made in 1984 mahogany body with rosewood fretboard, as you would imagine it is not bright sounding. I've gone through some pickups already, like the stock Dimarzio Super Distortions, SD Custom Bridge, PG neck, and just got Ddistortion, but haven't put them in yet...

On my HH guitar (1984 vintage) It originally had Dimarzio Super Distortion in neck and bridge, that I've since coil tapped and changed to a SD Custom in the bridge and a Pearly Gates neck. They don't seem to work very well, the Pearly gates is smooth and almost stuffy sounding. Cool and all, but...
