I've just got a new MXR Distortion + pedal and I'm not sure about where to put it in my setup, and I'm afraid of damaging it. Should it be: Guitar > MXR > Multi FX processor > amp OR Guitar > Multi FX processor > MXR > amp? Or does it even make any difference? Thanks.

I've been thinking about getting a Marshall JMP-1 for a while now. But I'm not sure about one thing. Can you use it with a Marshall head like a SLP or JCM800 and then into a cab? Or does it have to be used with a power amp? (I know the Marshall 9200 works with it). Thanks.
