    the custom shop models are mostly consistently great, but there is still variation where i prefer one over another

    the dual reverbs were probably the most common, and my least favorite. they could still sound good though. the mk iii and slx amps...

    the col rails does sound closer to the jazz for sure. 500k pots? the custom stack+ can sound good in the neck with a hotter bridge...

    the red devil strat bridge pup is middy and fat, which is why i doubt it would be a good neck pup. even with 500k pots and a hot bridge...

    many of the jcm900 models sound fine once you really open em up, but many are fizzy at lower volumes. they can be very good amps

    dont put the pgb in the neck and the jazz neck in the bridge, the imbalance would be significant, and i betcha it sounds great as it is
