So we all know how people at harmony central can be morons..but how good do the epiphone amps really sound? they give them like 9's.

I was looking the other day at the Ampeg SJ-12T. I personally thought it was a fantastic amp, played with my Les Paul. The only thing is, only one channel. Now given this is probably my personal favorite clean, I was deliberating on wheather to get one or not. The question is how good it sounds...

So i need a new amp. Definately tube with just KILLER tone. Needed for some gigging, but nothing really heavy. I play classic/blues rock. I'm not looking for really any bells and whistles just some bas ass killer tone. what can you guys reccomend?

Gibson SG custom faded 2004. Cherry brown. Pretty nice condition, has a ring on the back of the neck where it sat on a guitar stand, but its unnoticable. 59 neck and JB bridge. Comes with origonal pups. 700$. Will trade for Japanese Start or Tele.

Ok, so i cant really pin the distortion type for classic rock. I have a line 6 flextone III and am playing a gibson les paul. I keep Hendrix and Zeppelin on the JCM-800 setting with the drive at about half, or a little more. Its just too sloppy sounding. I cant seem to dial into the distorted...

I'm looking at a PRS custom 24 with the 5 way rotary switch, bird inlays, and the thin/wide neck. How cheap have you guys seen these babys go for?

My dad brought to my attention that when i pick, i get a weird sound. It sounds like a tapping almost. I'm not doing a pick scream or anything..just a regular everyday picking action. What is causing this?

Les Paul or PRS and i have a Line 6 Flextone 3, and am looking into getting the pedal...when i download "patches" will these be like patches for songs like on the POD or will they just be presets of the amp settings?

i was in GC the other day checking out amps, and i cant keep my eye off this black 72 les paul. its pretty dinged up. has a crack about 1/9th an inch deep in between the pickups and the crack continues all the way down the guitar. not on the neck though. this is a 1972 custom shop. it has gold...
