With a separate volume for each, on one three way switch? Will there be any strange interaction between say a 25k volume for the active + a 500K volume for the passive, under the assumption that I will never run the middle position on the switch?

What does it mean when a tube in a particular socket acts as though it's microphonic, but only in that specific socket? Tubes work in other sockets, and all tubes tried in the socket in question act microphonic... thanks for any help. :scratchch
