I followed this diagram and the results are Pos 2 and 4 are NOT hum cancelling. I did flip the magnet on a pickup. Something tells me when you flip a magnet, the colors need to be changed as well. The diagram does not yield hum canceling. How to fix?

I have to rewire a Gibson. I only have 2 250k's and 2 500k's. What will give me the least amount of treble loss? 250k's in the Volume or in the Tone? My caps are .022

I've epoxied the triple shot switches into my pickguard and oriented the neck P-Rails with the blade facing the neck side, sounds 100% better this way. i'm happy now. yes, i use Floyd arms on my strat bridges, rock solid.

What can I expect by swapping the mags for A5's? The sound coming from the neck , especially the lows is farty definitely not as tight as I would want. The bridges missing something too. Anyone done the swap?
