I just picked up a Danelectro 12 reissue with 2 lipstick pickups. I had always thought that the Dano's would be bright and jangly while being relatively low output. I haven't checked the resistance on my pickups yet but I'm pretty surprised that they aren't brighter. Any Dano users out there...
