I recently bought a Squire Jazz bass and I love it; exeptional quality for $300. In my old broken P-style bass I have a Quarter Pound SPB-3 and I'd like to add it to the Jazz. Anybody ever tried this? If so, got any tips on placement or wiring etc... ? Thanks, John.

I have a Music Man Silhouette Special and I'd like to bring the saddles back to the original height and radius. Any idea how to do this?Do I just follow the neck radius? thanks john

How do you count sixteenth note triplets?I know triplets can be counted out-- 1 n a 2 n a 3 n a 4 n a etc... I can play sexteplets in a scale If I think about it but I am have trouble mixing em up in an improv setting with sixteens an so on.

I just finished installing a DPDT push/pull for splitting my HBs.Now in the middle position of the 3way switch on my Santana SE, I get more quack than my Strat. BTW-The total cost of this guitar plus the pups was about $750can.(around $650US). I'd say this thing has road warrior written all over...

What are the most popular hotter true single coils for a strat. I know I probably can't have my cake and eat it but I would like to still be able to get that "strat" sound.

OK, I just installed a JB and a Jazz in my PRS Santana SE. It has 1 volume & 1tone and a 3/way toggle. What I want to do is be able to slpit both pick-ups and still have the 3/way toggle operate the same (ie.. 1st pos.- bridge split,middle- both split,3rd- neck split) There is a wiring diagram...

Does any one know the gauge of wire used in a JB or Jazz pup? I want to buy a pair of wire strippers but none looked small enough to strip those tiny wires in my JB.

I'm look for a guitar that gets me at least in the ball park -soundwize- of a Les Paul but that has (most importantly) a strat-style bridge (does'nt matter if it's vibrato or not). I find it difficult to change between the two. Any ideas?

Is there enough tonal improvement to warrant spending the extra bucks for Monster guitar cables? I was in Best Buy today and saw a demo on a split screen and the side using Monster cables was 100 times sharper. I wonder if this holds true for guitar cables? Anybody have any experience with this?
