The BAT Destroyer arrived. I decided to have a day off without all the usual business. Good times getting wasted all by myself. So I go ahead and put the pedal in front of the amp and plug in. Without earplugs, of course. It does what it claims to do. That is all.

I just ordered a Black Arts Toneworks Destroyer today. Maybe it'll cure my fuzz itch for a while. I expect it to crush everything in its path and yet yield some mellower tones with creative use of volume and picking dynamics. We'll see.

I'm looking for a neck pickup to pair with a FRED in a MIJ jackson with a hardtail tele-stylebridge and a dmz Fred. Bodywood is unknown, but it's very light so I'd wager it's basswood, maple/rosewood neck. The guitar doesn't have a neck pickup now so I don't have anything to compare to...
