looking to re string some guitars, I've usually used 7's on my strats and 10's on my eps LP styles. but im looking to split the difference. plain steel but nickels are ok too.

cant find anything really demo worthy. Someone said it can get Ace Frehley tones almost to the note if not on the note. Are they wrong? What do i need to know? Was this an old custom shop recipe use by anyone on a "known" album?

Wiring 2 humbuckers in the 50s type, would a treble bleed be redundant? and second if anyone can answer can this be done with blackouts as well?

If you only had to only have it one way with 2 humbuckers. Would you rather have the ability to split the neck or bridge. Please help me under stand the pros for each.
