Looking for the famous hot PAF sound but would like beefed up low end, lots of mids, and a bit rolled off high end. Custom 5 was decent, but not enough mids and too much highs. This is going in a Gibson Explorer, what would you all recommend?

I have a black Gotoh Nashville style bridge, tail piece, and anchors that are coming off my Gibson Explorer. Also have a set of black planet waves auto trim tuners. Converting to nickel so these are no longer needed. Let me know if interested or any trades.

Something is up with my crybaby, when active it sounds amazing as always. But when I try to bypass it, its still on but the volume is considerably lower. I took a look inside, and it looks alright? Anyone has any idea whats going on, and how to troubleshoot?

So I swapped magnets on my phat cats but now the pups only work when I touch the pup directly. I didn't solder the back to the cover on the pup because my iron is terrible. Is the solder connecting the cover to the pup actually grounding?
