    Is this residue normal on the the PCB of an SD pickup?

    I just got my cool rails pickup in the mail this week and it has what looks like dried glue on one of the solder points on the rear. Is that normal? Im not that familiar with pickups that have printed circuit board. So just checking.

    Help Understanding DPDT Diagrams

    Here's where Im confused. Take a look at this Lindy Fralin picture of a DPDT pot when its knob is pointed upward. I clearly understand the layout. Now look at these two Seymour Duncan diagrams. The first is for a DPDT series parallel as the Volume....the second pic is with the DPDT pot series...

    Original Post: UPDATE: Ive decided to stick with traditional DPDT pots like Alpha or Bourns. The more I read about the CTS push-pulls, the more I was turned off. Especially since i might want to rewire things in the future....and that doesnt seem so easy with the tiny, close together eyelets...
