Hi,
title says it all. I have an SSS Strat with aged white PU covers and would like to put a JB Jr. in the bridge that should then match the others.
Website says: "Choose white, black, cream and parchment housing.", so I suppose that either cream or parchment would be the ones. Does any of...
I was thinking about doing that to my Jaguar... I reall ylove the look of the block inlay with binding neck models, unfortunately these aren't produced anymore. Also, I like my black Jaguar HH with matching Headstock, so I thought I could let some luthier put these things on? Or not? Anyone know...
other than tone, obviously...
is that feeling when unpacking your new set of matched and selected premium tubes. Taking them out of their boxes... looking at them in all of their fragile beauty... then putting them in... looking at them while they heat up... biasing them to the maximum...
:14:
These are gonna put some Texas into my Jaguar HH.
I'm gonna wire them in "normal" for now... and as soon as I recieve my MIA Hardware and plates and electronics, I think the bass cut switch will be modded to a series/parallel shifter for the buckers, depending on the cleans I can get in...
What's the difference between those two colors from the Fender lineup? Both look quite white to me... the first being the Am Standard and the second the Am Deluxe color... is it just like... Black and Montego Black?
thanks
So the Twin comes... with 4 6L6 tubes to produce 85W... can you just pull two of those like in good old EL34 Marshalls and have half the Wattage?
Just askin...
Anyone every played one? How does that feel? Sounds quite uncomfortable to me actually... or rather unflexible... like you can only have one hand position or something.
tell me...
thanks
I keep reading about it... sooo can anybody tell me what it's like soundwise...

I read the specs are 9.0k, Alnico 2 which basically sounds like a slightly beefed up Seth to me...
Can anyone decribe the character of...
So... the black (new style) 1960 that says "1960 Vintage" in the bottom corner is the one with the G12T/75s, right?
Here's what I mean (random picture):
Thanks...
Why are some of the Celestions (like the Gold) rated for either 8 or 15Ω (the why goes for the 15)?
I suppose it wouldn't be a good idea to have it connected to the 16Ω output of your amp right? So why do they do that?:scratchch
...I love.
Mine arrived yesterday (together with my new 535Q Crybaby which now teams up with my Voodoolab Superfuzz :firedevil) and it totally kills ANYTHING I've ever seen/heard in the Attenuator field. Especially if you use it to turn down the amp more than -8dB, most other Attenuators...
Just got this... really easy to use freeware tool for creating whole songs drum-wise for those who can't afford/have no room for an e-Drumset but want to have drums on their recordings.

I thought I'd share it with you guys since I've been looking for...
Hi,
just messing around a bit... what would a balanced 12AT7 do in the V4 of my amp compared to the standard 12AX7?
Also... I always thought V1 was the first gain stage, V2 was the drive channel driver or something and V3 the "normal V2" until recently, when I heard something different (V1, V2...
Are they worth it? I mean they are priced quite hefty, is the difference there or is that rather imaginary? We're talin about good cables in comparison... not 5$ ones.
thanks
