Well, i had it all along, just didnt know it: Sanded out the red today on my epi phony (thanks to monty jay for the idea and the advice) Yeah i know i didnt do a great job, i oversanded a couple of bits (never was a perfectionist anyway) I like it though :) Got a couple of gold covered...

Just thought i'd share this little experiment with yas: Lately i've become pretty anal about instrument noise...sometimes unhealthily so! But my 5 string bass guitar had been REALLY irritating me. It has a P pickup in the neck (which was pretty quiet of course), and a J pickup in the bridge...

Just bought kjrocks' tele - its going to be a present for my father's 50th later this month. A black pickguard would really match it well with his black strat....so i'm on the lookout for one that fits a MIM tele. So if a) you've got one , or b) you know where to buy one..... Let me know...

Brobucker! - Double Cream with Nickel Cover (Soldered On or Off, your choice) Sounds good but not my flavour (but yeah it is TOTALLY Angus Young!). It squealed a little at volume so i wax potted it. Looks basically new. $110USD shipped and paypal'ed anywhere in the world! No trades thanks.

Finally got my guitar wired up the way i want it.......involved gutting it, installing copper tape shielding, then wiring in pickups, 2 push pulls, and a switch.......oh and i upped a string guage so i had to re-do the intonation on a couple of strings. Took me basically a whole day and a bit...
