Bill Lawrence Wilde L90 6H resistance

I have a few BL Wilde pups. But I am curious about the Wilde L-90 6 henry version. Just received one today, it reads 9.6k. I know inductance is more than the resistance on the pickups, it’s the way coil is wound and magnet and pickup structure, all contributes to final inductance , etc , etc...

FS: Bill Lawrence Wilde Pickups, L-90 and L-610

I have Bill Lawrence Wilde pickups for sale that were hardly ever used. First is the L-610, which are rare because Wilde/Bill Lawrence company stopped making these, it's no longer advertised on their website. The L-610 was ordered in 2013 when Mr. Lawrence was still with us and still making...

Looking for a Pearly Gates bridge to try, preferably in a good condition with plenty of leads left for wiring. I am willing to trade Full Shred bridge, Dimarzio EVO 2, or Pearly Gates Plus. All are in good condition, with lots of leads left. Thanks. EVO 2 description...

Has anyone make a 59/JB hybrid?

What is it like, specially compared to 59/Custom? Does it sound weird or good?

Man I just love the Pearly Gates Plus

Years ago when I joined this forum and was an active member, I was crazy about chasing tone by changing pickups. Between 3 guitars, I think I tried most of the popular pickups from Duncan, Dimarzio, and a few from Bill Lawrence. Not only have I tried changing capacitors and pots, but I've tried...

Anyone tried te Wilde L-90 pickups?

What are they like tonally? There aren't that many demos available. There are different output versions as I understand. Are they like a warmer L-500 or high output vintage 70s/paf sound? I'm asking for a frame of reference I guess. Also besides the output, what are the tonal difference between...

    B/M/T for the WLH set?

Are the specs for these yet to be updated? I don''t see it on the website or the resonant peak.

Q: So that ol' Pagey LP tone

I know that the WLH are getting great reviews, and pretty good for nailing some of Page's LP tones. But... I also came across some reviews where players are saying it's better for his modern tone than some of his early 1970s stuff. If you tried the WLH, (particularly the bridge pup) vs something...

Just picked up my first JBJ

I just scored an old JB from ebay, and I thought it was pretty cool to have this, my favorite pickup, wound by MJ. Without paying the CS prices. :naughty:. And as an added bonus, it's ZEBRA!!! Looks in relatively decent shape from the pictures. I had a DCJ before, but I like the JB more...

When did trem space HBs become available?

I know the HBs back in the day came only in gibson spacing, but then Duncans started offering the PATB, but when did they start offering the trem spacing for all buckers? Just curious, Thanks.

Which Duncan pup has the most presence/cut in your IMO?

I'm just curious to find out about your experiences with experimenting various Duncan pickups. For me, it's been the JB. DD was close, and PG was pretty good at staying above the mix for a paf. I know it's all the about the gears and settings that has more of an influence. But for basic solder...
