Question: A friend is asking me my opinion on putting a HS3 in the mid position and a HS2 in the bridge. I'm clueless about the gauge wire used in these pickups and outputs but looking at DC resistance I suspect that the 2 is #43 and the 3 is #44 which could make the 3 in the mid position...

Why do guy's older than 50 always ask me if my bridge PU is a 10k? Do they know something we don't. Actually I have a theory on this but am just curious if any one else does.

Gibson Night Hawk switch wiring...does anyone have any links, any info? My singer lets me play his and I'm intrigued by the switch, but I don't even want to ask if I could take it apart.

Paper Soul, I never bought a C type cause neither the JB nor DD had enough low mid for me. Assuming C types and JB/DD type are both wound with #43 how could the C type have more low mids. I can only imagine that the JB frequencies below 400Hz were to pronounced and took away from the mids and...
