I just got into these guys, I really like the tone they get on the new album and on the vid I saw for Ruin.
I know nothing about their equipment, so a complete rundown would be nice.
I am looking at the xtreme tone (pretty much the hot cat pre) and I am wondering just how heavy it gets.
I just can't bring myself to play anything conventional!

My influences for this song are Origin, Suffocation, Dying Fetus, and Death, in that order. I realised this after making it. I didn't use their riffs, but it sounds like riffs they would write.
Didn't like it. I would rather have my AVT 50 than the El Diablo.
The warm channel is very good, but that's not what I play on 95% of the time.
The hot channel is pretty flubby, even with the compressed and attack buttons in. The gain is pretty fuzzy and cold sounding.
