    Getting a bad hum.

Just installed new duncan pup's, pots, caps, jack, 3 way switch. I plug it into my amp, and I get a bad humming sound with my controls on 0. Turn the volume up to 10, the hum gets more quiet. Turn the volumes down to 0, the hum gets worst. As I'm getting this hum, if I touch the 3 way switch...

I have a gibson SG and I'm replacing the old PU's with Duncans. I'm installing a '59 for the neck PU, and a C-5 for the bridge PU. When I go to order these PU's on-line, they have a list of options. Cloth covered wire, Metal braided wire, Insulated wire, Copper foil, heat shrink, and Solder...

Duncan '59 neck PU, single or 4 conductor?

I have a Gibson SG with a 3 way switch. I want to replace my old PU's with a '59 for the neck, and a C-5 for the bridge. When I try to order the '59 on-line, it asks me if I want single conductor, or 4 conductor. Which one would I need? The C-5 doesn't ask me any questions, I guess it only comes...

    Need new pick-ups for a 69 SG

I have a Gibson 69 SG. The person before me replaced the Gibson pick-ups with 2 mixed matched junk PU's. I play rhythm guitar mostly, not alot of leads. I play classic rock, hard rock to heavy metal. I don't play lead, so I wouldn't need alot of super highs. Something with good mids and a good...
