I just recieved a set which is suppose to be stock pups off a MIM fender, it consists of 2 pups with white/black wires and a 3rd pup with yellow/black wires. Do MIM fender pups come with yellow/black wiring in the first place??:dunno: or could this 3rd pup be a MIA bridge pup? The magnet looks...

Hi, i recently have problems with the B and high E string on my strat. The vintage trem seems to rattle everytime I play these 2 strings. How do i fix this? Do I have to replace the entire trem to stop this from happening :blackeye: :blackeye:

Does your distortion sound thin and rough ? I don't seem to be able to get any good distorted sounds from mine. Issit time to replace the tubes or something? :smack:

I replaced the neck pup of my mij Squier with a set of Texas Hot and this pup is impressive! its warm, sweet and clear! It makes me wonder why I didnt try them earlier :smack:

Alright folks I finally gave in and bought a used Peavey Classic 30. Its my first tube amp so here are some questions -How do I know when I should replace the tubes ? -Does the classic 30 require any biasing? I heard from some owners that I do not have to rebias the classic 30 , just pop in...

Its a early 90's MIJ squier wif a S-S-S config, and Im posting this thread as I have no idea wad body wood are they made of (im guessing basswood? ) Which true single coil pup/stacks from the SD line would be a good choice? I play a little of everything from SRV to Nightwish

GAS got the better of me today and here I am with another strat, a Made In Japan Squier now all it needs is a decent set of higher output single coils

Hi guys, Im considering of replacing the current humbucker-routed bridge with the gibson bridge (like seymour's telegib). Just wondering will the screw holes of my current bridge be aligned with the gibson bridge or I would have to fill them up and redrill it?

I have an unidentified low output gibson pickup without any identification, has a output of 7k or so, it resembles a dirty finger pickup and im pretty sure it was a stock pickup between the 70s-80s. Any idea what it might be?

ceramics tend to sound better in single coil rail pups and ear piercing in humbuckles? im suffering from a bad headache after playing with ceramics and alnico 5 humbuckles :smack:
