Blackstar TVP 60 head rules! Just got this thing and for a SS amp it is pretty amazing. Has warm valve like tone. Amazing crunch and serious scooped metal sound. Most of the Blackstar design team are former techs from Marshall. It shows. As close to a tube amp as I've ever heard.

Re: metal grills for cabs and heads? Go to Lowes. They have 3 types of metal you can use. Look in the sheet metal section. This is the type I used. Made of aluminum and cut by heavy scissors.
