What do the different value pots (potentomitors?) do for/to a pickup? Like the 250k, 500k and 1Meg pots, do they just give a wider range of sound possible? Like if one had a 500k tone pot for the bridge humbucker, as opposed to a 250k one, would this mean it's more sensitive to the humbucker's...

This'll be the first time I change pickups in my best axe :) I'm changing from whatever the stock 'bucker is to a JB... :32: I can't wait to hear the results! I'm hoping it'll take me on step closer to gettig a tone near to to Adrian Smith's... i.e halfway decent :smack:

Does anyone know which Seymour Duncan pup is closest in sound to fender DH8's? I heard that SD make these pups and they are renamed for Fender or something?
