What is the magnet in the Ants neck? I always thought it was a A3? yes/no? While we're at it ... bridge is A5? Yes/no? Are they aged/demagnetized? PS: Ants made within the last year.

I got a custom '67 V that will be getting a new sound : Allen Holdsworth (Bridge) Full Shred (Neck) I'm expecting a very articulate sound. Will I be disappointed? I had Duncan Jimmy Page Custom Shop PUs in my V but those will be going in a new PRS Tremonti SE (for now).

As for impedance, a normal twin reverb is 2 x 8 ohms in parallel, giving an 4 ohm load. A Custom Twin has 2 x 8 ohm speakers in series for a 16 ohm load. The question is whether adding an additional cab would affect this. i.e. with a 16 ohm hotplate running a 16ohm load, could one in...

Say you have : Amp = 60 Watts Speaker A = 25 watts ... G12m Speaker B = 120 Watts ... G12H-120 All the ohms are matched ... Amp = 16ohms, Speaker A & B are 8ohms each therefore in-series = 16ohms. What are pros and more importantly the cons of such a huge mismatch in watts?

Which would you choose? They seem to be fairly similar in tone but I do like the extra Fx loop but not the extra $$$s.
