    Pickup compatibility or mismatch question

    I plan to mix bridge and neck pups. How can I tell if my selections are compatible before I buy? I don't want one to overpower the other. Are there any other considerations that should be made when mixing pups?

    Can you identify my Blackouts?

    I bought a used guitar that came with a pair of Blackouts. I was wonding if anyone could tell me which version they are. They're for a 6 string and the back says I4Q15 BLKOUT N-20090603 Hybrid Differential Preamplifier designed by Kevin Buller. Thanks!

    Can HH Blackouts be used in a HSH body?

    I found a guitar I want to steal parts off for my project guitar. But it has HH Blackouts. My build has an HSH body. Can they be rewired for this configuration? How difficult a project would that be?

    Active Pups in a thin body guitar?

    About 8 years ago I bought a used MIJ Strat. I love the sound I get from this thing but I prefer the feel of my Ibanez Saber. My best guess is that the pups are SD LW Classic Active Strats (did SD make those like 10 years ago?) but I can't be sure because there are no markings on them at all...
