Is this a fair representation of what the pu sounds like? The reason I ask is that although I've seen quite a few recommendations for the C5, that audio sample sounds absolutely terrible to me.

When wiring controls with more than one volume control, do you use 'conventional' wiring, with the pickup wired to an outside lug of the pot, or do you use 'independent' wiring, with the pickup wired to the center lug?

Seems like it would be nice to be able to dial it in anywhere from full HB to a P90 sound.
