Just wondering if anyone has ever tried the black winter neck in the bridge position, if so what are your thoughts?

So I’m using a wolfetone 8.2 neck pickup in the bridge and a Seth lover bridge in the neck. Do I have to change the magnet orientation in one of the pickups, because I’ve never swapped bridge neck positions in a guitar before?

Just wondering if anyone knows how much of an output boost by putting an a8 or a double thick a8 in a pickup vs the original a5 magnet?

Anyone have any experience with the jazz neck with a short a5 mag? I’m going for the Clapton 335 64 pickups with short a5 mags. I also have a Seth bridge and a 57 classic plus and a regular 57 to experiment with short a5. You guys have any other suggestions? Thanks!!

Just wondering what you guys think his original 335 paf magnets were. I’ve read 64 paf’s were short mags, but there’s so much information that’s not consistent. Just wondering your guys thoughts. Thanks guys!!

Hey guys I want to replace the slugs on my jb to screws kinda like the Allan holdsworth model. Can I just pop the slugs out and replace with screws? I searched the forum and I couldn’t find specific details, I’m sure it’s on the forum somewhere. I just couldn’t find it lol.

So I’m wanting to experiment with a magnet change on my invader bridge. I know there’s ceramic spacers on the sides, I have a double thick a8 and a6 magnet I would like to swap in for the main magnet, can I swap the main magnet and leave the ceramic side mags without causing issues? If so what...

Do they make black screws that would fit to replace the big cap screws on the invader. If so what size diameter would I need?

I made a job with Alnico 8 mag and hex screws I’m thinking about pairing it with a distortion neck. I’d like it to match with the hex screws, what would putting hex screws In the distortion neck make it sound like?

I just got my epiphone 50’s les Paul and I’m wanting to put new pickups in it. I’m looking for Clapton fresh cream type of tone. So I’m deciding between the 59 and the Alnico ii or pearly gates models. What do you guys think?

Hey guys, i have an esp ltd ec401 with the jb and 59 pickups. I love the 59, but the jb doesnt have the bottom end im looking for. What would you guys recommend replacing it with for classic rock/blues?
