I have an 24 fret HSS guitar that is too bright when using the neck PU. I dont want to change the tone of the middle or bridge PU's. It has a 500k tone and volume pot and a 5 way switch. Can anyone tell me how I could wire in a 250K load on just the neck PU?

Are the Hotrails intended for 250K or 500K ohm pots, or which do you prefer/recommend?

Does S.Duncan or anyone else make a good match for the Bill Lawrence L500XL bridge PU for the neck position in a 24 fret 2hum ash body/floyd rose guitar? I have a Bill Lawrence USA humbucker(7.5Kohm) in the neck slot now, but its too bright/sterile. A '59b(8.5Kohm) in a black dual blade design...
