can not find any info on this subject - recently purchased online one of these from a 1989 "whatever" model advertised as being in "excellent condition"
measures 5.2k on my meter .. seems pretty low to me
hopefully some one can tell me if this is within an acceptable range or should i just...
loaded a couple new teles with buckers fore and aft - both with a 7.25 radius neck - you can hear a slight difference in attack from the outer strings to the centre strings
should i adjust up the poles to roughly follow the curve of the fretboard and hence closer to the inner strings - not sure...
just setup the a walnut mahogany tele with buckers and hardtail bridge
when the the open E is struck it has a "piano" or acoustic like tone
piano is the only way i can describe it
there are overtones or modulations almost like a mild chorus effect
the A and other strings have a straight up...
never having much experience with buckers i am a little puzzled by this.
the PG has 5 wires and i solder red to white and wind the green and bare together - checking the resistance to see if all is ok i find a reading of around 4k

so i unwound the green and bare and touch green and black...
just installed a set of these in a a thinline tele and the lead pickup is stunning
the rythm is ok but seems a bit mushy but it is very warm and smooth
my next project has two bucker routs so i want a 59 neck which i love and whatever bucker gives a similar sound to the tele hot stack...
what should i use in my thinline build?
the diagram for the stacks on the seymour site shows no pot values
i assume if using 250k the sound will be dark??
are these pickups proper humbucks or is one coil a dummy?? in which case perhaps use a 250k
also is the hot stack roughly equivalent to the...
i am after a bucker that will have a bright top, and punching bottom for the bridge of my current project
i like a 59 in the neck but find a 59 in the bridge a little wimpy. i need harmonics and plenty of cut... pretty raunchy....i thought of a dimebucker but is that going too far.
i'm an old...
This one is routed out on the bottom so the cavity cant really be shielded so i decided to use either vintage or hot stack but not sure which one.
I like the bite and twang of a SD broadcaster but want a bit thicker sound. I also like the hot lead but still not quite thick enough.
I guess I...

Have thinline i am building which is ready for pickups and am wondering about what to use.
I really like the broadcaster / vintage neck combo but as it is a thinline with a bottom chamber, I have no way of sheilding the control cavity properly.
My question is how does the vintage stack set...
I was hoping to use a demon bridge and jazz neck in a project with fender spaced bridge so how come the jazz buckers aint available in trenbucker spacing??

Just bought a pair of p90s for blueshawk solid body.
