    Pickups for Epiphone Dot?

    Hey, Does anyone know what pickups would suit an Epiphone Dot for a solid rock n roll punk sound, such as the Dropkick Murphys and Rancid. Would the JB and Jazz combination work good. I'm just a bit unsure because of the hollow body. Any comments would help, Cheers.

    Problem with my bridge pickup?

    Hi I've seen on most guitar sites that the pickups should be about 2 to 3mm from the strings. If I have the bridge pickup this close it makes the clean channel on my amp sound a bit crunchy.
