i currently have a hot rails in my strat, but ive always wanted to try out the twang banger. Which do you guys prefer?

just put a used Am strat in layaway(will have it out in 2 weeks) but its time to start thinking about what i want to do with it. I was thinking either putting in blues saraceno in the bridge, or just leaving it single coil and going with the Twangbanger. i play mainly classic & alternative...

i just put a fender mustang reissue in layway...and i must say, i played a vintage one at a GC in a far away town and i twas simply amazing to me, and then i found a reissue that was nearly identical....and i was wondering if anyone else has experience with the Fender Mustang.

just bought this used Peavey Classic 2x12, and its sounding pretty nice, ive hear d that some people like these old things lol, any comments?

has anyone else done this ? my dad just dropped it on me earlier to find him some groove tubes for his JCM900 and i was slightly thrown off. He said he'd used them before and they gave him a better sound that whatever he had in there before, lol reading that back i sound like an idiot.

the serial # is 169168, which lists it as being made near the end of 1977. Its a standard dreadnaught body, and has no markings as to a model #. So does anyone know of the models back then? btw, i bought it off a friend at work who got it for free and didnt want it, paid only 75 dollars :).
