I have heard people talk about the Duncan Custom, I think, as the holy grail of pickups. I understand tone is subjective, but have there been attempts at acheiveing this feat?

Have narrowed it down to Custom Custom or Custom 5. Want to keep the PAF tone, but louder. I play through the following; Mesa Boogie Stiletto, Fender Supersonic, and a Behringer V-amp.

Does anyone like it at all? Has anyone found a real use for it. I tried and didn't like, so I leave alone. Didn't care for it much.

Want to put a burstbucker pro bridge in the neck position with a 498t in the bridge. Can this work? Anything I should worried about, in terms of wiring or whatever?
