Okay, I have a problem. When I run my classic 30 on the dirty channel with the post at 12 and the pre at 4 (the amount of gain I want) Its not as loud as I need it. Obviously the amp runs a lot louder when the pre and post are both on 11, so it can go much louder. Just not under these settings...

My Belman fell of its stand and now the poly coat has a chip in it. No damage to the wood, but theres quite a large chip missing in the poly coat. How much do you think it would cost to repair?

i just bought some random instrument from the markets and i have no idea what it is. 4 metal strings all the same size, fretless. the headstock is at a 90 degree angle to the neck. The body is a hollow semi-sphere with a hole at the back of it. Any Ideas? I'll post pictures when I get back home...
