I've been thinking about getting one of these but I hear the distortion models are not very good. I've also read where the board tends to be a bit noisy. Any comments?

I've done enough research to see I think this is the head I want. Now, I'm going to get an Avatar 2 x 12 cabinet but I'm not sure what speakers or mix of speakers to get. Anyone have a good idea what speakers sound good with this head? Thanks Pepi

I've got a C-5 and Jazz setup in my Les Paul. The Jazz I love but the C-5 needs a bit more power. What can you do to a C-5 custom to give it a bit more power and make it more sensitive? Sometimes I wish I would have went with the JB :smack:

Anyone built one or played through one. Been thinking about building the available kit.
