I have a single pickup LP Junior. I started off with a JB ,but found it a little thin (this suprised me). I now have a BBQ in there. I like it, but wonder if something a little hotter might be in order. How would you compare these two pups? thanks

I have a single humbacker Junior. It tends to be a little bright. I wasn't crazy about the JB in this one. Seemed to lack low end. I have a 59b in there now. I like it better but would prefer something a little hotter. Kind of ZZ Topish. I'm leaning twards a C-5, but I'm all ears. Got suggestions?

I'm swapping out some humbackers on a friends LesPaul. The bridge PUP (JB) had an extra magnet stuck to the bottom plate. Would a bad marryjuana habit explain this or does this have some mojo effect?

What is it that makes the Jazz so clean and articulate? The construction, magnet and ohmage are very close to a standard PAF. Yet, it sounds quite different. Any thoughts?
