Looking for a set of APS-1's, neck and middle (RW/RP) only (have a CC bridge!)

Thought it was worth a shot. Anyone have a two of APS-1's, neck and mid (RW/RP), that they would be willing to trade for a full set of Tex Mex Fat Strat pups (H-S-S)?

Got a good deal on a Custom Custom on ebay. It is an SH-11 and my strat has trempucker spacing. Anyone interested in swapping a TB-11 for the SH-11?

I found a Custom Custom on ebay for a great price, forgot to check my string spacing first (duh!!). What I have is an SH-11, but my existing HB in my Fat Strat is wider spacing. How much of a difference is this going to make? Is it even worth my while to put the SH-11 in or should I just resell...

Let me ask a few general questions to see if I am understanding correctly. Pup outut is determined by DC resistance... higher resistance = higher output, right? Then... splitting the coils on a HB results in a 50% reduction in resistance which should equal about 1/2 the output. Then lastly...

Just out of curiosity... do the nickel or brass covers on the HB pups make a sound difference, or are they just for looks? If they do make a sound difference... what is it?
