This is the best thing Fender has done in a wile for a club player. It actually has good tone. It's not original 68 good, but it's good tone at a reasonable volume and not so loud and boomy as the originals are. It's easier to control. the speaker is ok.......I'd experiment with a Celestian gold...

Anybody throw Seymour Duncan FatCats in a strat equipped with a Floyd Rose? Did it kill the tone or did they still sound good?

Does anybody have experience with this amp? How much clean headroom does it have?

I have not tried this on a low powered amp but will a boost pedal say 20db increase the overall volume of an amp as in something like a blues jr or vox ac15 or EVH lunchbox type amps, or will the amps compression limit the volume db increase?

I like to use my guitar tone knob for doing wah wah type tone when I'm playing pentatonic scales or hammer ons. I went to get a low friction pot and the luthier suggested a different taper on the tone pot. Think he said "linier taper". Anybody have any experience with this type of tone pot?

anybody try classic stacks with an A3 mag? I like the sound of the Eric Johnson pickups with A3 mags and I wonder how A3 mag classic stacks would sound in a neck and middle pickup

Hey has anybody had any experience with these before? I want to throw a couple in a Floyd Rose strat. Can they sound like a strat single or are they more of a humbucker type sound?

So this amp is 26 watts, has a couple 6l6's, uses a 15 inch speaker, is hand wired, and is voiced for more midrange. Anybody play one of these before? I am very interested in this platform. I wonder if I can get 15 to 18 watts clean headroom before it starts breaking up.
