Pics? I''ve been playing 37/38 years and still haven't found it. I reckon a Musicman Luke with JB and two apache singles would be pretty close, but I would rather a set neck. ...I'd settle for a HSS strat style with those pickups though.

I have a couple stock in my Hohner that are decent. I will change them over the next year most likely as they are nice but not amazing...they've lasted this long (37 years) though, while I've changed the bridge humbucker several times.

I'm not saying you shouldn't get an amp stand...but maybe you should set your gear up before you set the PA etc. up.

One more here who needs to get something along those lines too.

Of the magnets I have tried in one (A2/A4/A5/A8) I like the A4 the best. I suspect I like A4 mags more than most though - seems like they're not overly popular for bridge pickups. I never found it had an upper mid "spike", at least my two 90s JBs, but to my ear A4 seems to spread out the mid...

You´ll find one easily on amazon, like the link Guitardoc posted. "3.5mm allen key" ...also any European hardware shop (outside of the UK) that will send to the US, as metric is the standard over here.

Just so as you know I have this mod earmarked for one of my guitars. I have plenty of other work to do on it first... but I will eventually get to it.

I'm curious, about a few aspects of Jazzmaster pickups. Are they good for both clean and crunchy sounds or are they better suited to just one? Also is there anything more in common with P-90s soundwise (or construction wise for that matter) or do they just look fairly similar?
