Just got the Epi G-400 cream SG with 3 gold humbuckers. IMO they sound like #$#$#. Anybody know how I can make this a brighter guitar? I really want it to cut through. And make sure y'all recommend pups for all 3 positions. Cheers!

I can't take this lipstick pickup in the neck position anymore! Squeals with any gain. Who has some favorites?

Going in an Epiphone Les Paul and I already have the Pearly Gates but was discouraged against the PG neck. Any ideas?

I'm a bit confused, does Seymore Duncan make a neck version of the Pearly Gates? I told my wife to pick me up a Neck position Pearly Gates at Guitar Center and she came back with the bridge model. She said the guy at the store told her they were the same. Anybody know? I've looked on the site...
