Ok so i sprayed some tuner stuff into the slots into the scratchy pots and let sit for a while with the backplate off. Now though it seems to of makin it worse... no theres no sound on my pots at all unless i turn them up full volume... go figure... What now? are my pots just totally done for...

When spraying deoxidizer or any type of cleaner like that to fix scratchy pots is their special way to do it? Like do you just spray on the back of the pots when you open up the guitars backplate? or do you open up the pots and spray, or is their any special location you should spray?

Ok so im replacing the pots in my Yamaha AES-620 (2 volume 1 tone pot). I was thinking CTS 250k Volume for APH-1 and 250k volume for JB and then 500k for Tone pot. Does this sound like a good idea for achieving classic rock /GnR styles of sound. Also whats a good place for ordering CTS pots...
