I just bought a squier Bronco bass, the bass is cool, However the pickup is a piece of poo - 6 pole pieces are just visible under the cover, so it's just a strat p.u. It sounds pretty watery. I'd like to have a full and warm bass sound, without having too much changement to make in the bass...

I had a DeArmond Starfire special (big semihollow kinda rockabilly guitar), and their DeArmond 2K Single coils are noisy.. Theirs dimensions are pretty particuliar so I need adivices and help..P 90 will be ok ?(but what about hum?) ? mini humbuckers ?
