    Installing Pickup Covers. Question.

I'm planning on installing some pickup covers on one of my guitars (the pink Jackson in my avatar actually). I've never done it before and I have a question. Based on what I've read, using wax between the cover and pickup seems to be the recommended method, but I also read that you can just use...

    I need serious wiring help.

I've got two Jackson Dinkys. They're both 2 humbucker, 1 vol, 1 tone, 3-way switch setups. The only experience I have with changing guitar pickups/electronics is that I switched the bridge humbucker in the older Jackson. In the new one though, I'm planning on replacing both humbuckers and...

    Coil Splitting Questions.

I've got two Jackson DX10D guitars. Both are HxH setups with 1 volume and 1 tone. One still has both the Duncan Designed pickups in it and in the other I replaced the bridge with a DiMarzio Fred. I'm planning on replacing the pickups in both with a JB/Jazz combo and would also like to coil tap...

WTB: Jackson JE10 (JS series) bridge pickup.

EDIT - It's been a long time since I started this thread but I'm still looking for a JE10 bridge or a bridge and neck set if anyone has some. If anyone has a Jackson JE10 bridge pickup they wanna sell let me know. I had a Jackson JS20 guitar awhile back and believe it or not, I really liked...

    Humbucker in Trembucker cavity? Gap?

If a regular sized humbucker is placed in a cavity routed for a trembucker/F-spaced pickup is there a noticeable gap around the pickup? IIRC, the difference is only about 0.075" but I'm still curious.

Duncan to Dimarzio pickup swap questions.

I've got a Jackson DX10D with Duncan Designed HB-103 pickups in it and plan to switch them. After much debate and research and going back and forth, the DiMarzio Fred seems to have the exact type of tone that I'm shooting for. I was originally considering getting some Seymour Duncan pickups but...
